Say what you will about Bay Area millionaires, at least they are making a sacrifice to back Obama — $4600 for the tickets, and $100k a year in higher taxes once he’s reverted marginal rates and cap gain rates and converted dividends back to ordinary income. And the Getty’s are going to be stuck with tens of millions in fees and costs to evade the hundreds of millions of estate taxes Obama will restore upon them.

Reserve your contempt for trial lawyers and unions who are going to get back $100 in benefits for every $1 in effort they give Obama.

makes you wonder what they are getting in return, doesn’t it?

like, why would michael bloomberg or john corzine or any of these guys spend tens of millions of their own money in addition to funds raised, to get a $200-400k per year job? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........

Not really. 100k is a drop in the bucket for most of them. And this soon to be "evil trial lawyer" doesn't have $2300 to pay up to anybody, nor 100k to pay taxes on. He's almost 100k in the hole instead with debts.
