I don't feel as deeply as you do about it and I don't think in America today you will be able to outlaw it. I just don't think it's going to happen.

Perhaps you are right Hildy, perhaps that law will never be overturned, but I think the job of pro-lifers is to at least allow the Mother's to be see that there is an alternative to abortion. (LIKE ADOPTION).
I think when you embark on having unprotected sex you have to consider the outcome. You do the crime you do the time.

I tried to view the video on the pro-life link, but youtube says its “no longer available.” Where can I find it?

YouTube removed the video a few hours after it was posted, and has not provided a reason. It may have been political, but could easily have been language since nothing was beeped out on the version we put up. We’ll be hosting the video on the prolifecorner site and at least one other website...I expect it to be available again either tomorrow or Thursday.

I do agree with you on that, but also realize that each of us has a different role to play in the fight. I would not make a very good “sidewalk counselor” because I’d probably lose my temper and have no legal or political skills so that part of the fight isn’t for me, either. I have a “hearts and minds” thing I do share. “A Dream A Lot Like Mine” can be heard by clicking on http://www.myspace.com/emmettgrayson if you’d like. One thing I notice is that many people of my own generation (I’m 58) seem to resent the song, but younger folks seem to accept it much more readily. I wonder if the response of the older people is rooted in a defensivenss of guilt that simply won’t be overcome?
