the RivetJoint aircraft tasked with monitoring the strike on Syria...and probably used to measure what chemicals were in the smoke from the resulting fire. It was flying back to Offutt AFB from over the Atlantic, and needed help with the weather, as they were flying around some severe thunderstorms in the Midwest.

There are a few Rivet Joints out there.

Exact numbers of RJs are classified but I’ve worked on most of them.

The RJ was a creature of comfort compared to the EC-130 Compass Call.

But I’d sure like that in-flight service we were supposed to have. All we had were Ravens.
