Obama's mom just took her kids sightseeing in one of the most the beautiful parts of the world. As to why she was there in the first place, I agree with the poster who commented that she seemed to be everwhere except raising her children.
Freepers can get silly some times, they give Obama too much credit, IMHO. Some sort of sleeper cell member, all the way back from the 80s. He was just backpacking with his eccentric Mom.
He didn’t sight see with his Mum. He went with a “friend”. His campaign put out the details. Said he visited with his mom and sister in Indonesia, then went with a college friend to his native Karachi Pakistan and stayed 3 weeks there...then traveled to Hyderabad India. Odd choices for a Christian American I think. But perfect choices for a young Muslim.
