,,, very rarely I’ll see a hedgehog in daylight. They’re nocturnal. I’ve never seen anyone throwing one. Most commonly their chosen way of death is by being run over by cars. The little suckers are known to carry all sorts of diseases.

*up to the reader to determine if I mean Ron Jeremy or the poor deceased little hedgehog*"It hit the victim in the leg, causing a large, red welt and several puncture marks"
Either one could leave a large, red welt....but I don't think Jeremy would leave puncture marks.

By *my* reckoning, if it has a mind of its own, it *might* just have teeth too. ;o)

Opossums (we call 'em possums) are the leaders in becoming road kill here in Oregon, they are also nocturnal.

Nocturnal, very slow moving generally and incredibly slow witted... the perfect combination for road kill.

They are freaky little buggers, had a friend that had one as a pet.

When Hedgehogs are outlawed only outlaws will have hedgehogs.

I actually had to learn something to respond to your comment. The hedgehog is an insectivore, and not a rodent. Who knew?!?....for a time there; hedgehogs (& honey-gliders) were sold (here) in an CKY pets shop....food: meal-worms...some baby-food/whole fruit...respectively
