Were you able to locate the HTML code on google? If so, would you mind telling me... very slowly, lol... how to find it.
My profile page is so complex, I hate to lose everything.
Yes, I found my profile page on google, but it is still here on FR. It hasn't disappeared....yet. Nothing came up when I clicked on the "cached" link.
Earlier today I did save my profile page html code by going into "view source" on my browser. It gave me the option of saving it in a Notepad file as a .txt document. If you do that, and need to restore your page from the view source code, you will have to remove John's code at the top and bottom and only replace YOUR code in the edit box.
I hope that helps.
I have saved the code on your page. If it disappears, freepmail me and I will send you your code. :-)
I just made a copy of it on my computer, so it wouldn't get lost. Let me know if you want it.
You can find it, for a while, in the Google cache, by searching on Google.com for:
site:freerepublic.com LucyT(That "site:" prefix isn't always needed, depending on how unique your FR name is, but it helps in some cases.)
When you do that search, the first hit you will see is a nicer looking variant of:
LucyTClick on the cached link of that first hit, and you will see the most recently cached copy of your FR profile page in Google. They update these fairly frequently, sometimes within minutes or hours, so you have to move quickly to recover something this way.
LucyT. Since Sep 18, 2005. view home page, enter name:. ~ About ~ Links ~ Contact ~ In Forum ~. Return. Haha. No sarcasm tag needed:. John McCain: ...

A suggestion......... go to your profile page, put the cursor in a blank spot, right click, select ‘view source’, it will open in another page [notebook]. That is the html code for your home page. Copy the code applicable to your home page, save it to a word document on your computer, save a backup copy on a disc and you have it. Your part will start after the < /table> entry.... Any changes you make in the future, just copy and save again.
