> At the mere mention of doing the pledge there were groans and boos. Then, when the district chair put the idea of doing the Pledge of Allegiance up to a vote, it was overwhelmingly voted down.
‘Strewth!
On the basis of the above, it would appear that if Obama is voted in then America has been taken by stealth by an Enemy Domestic, one that boos the Pledge of Allegiance and that will vote not to give it. What is worse is that the Enemy Domestic will have seized power by democratic vote at a time when the only viable opposition — the GOP — does not appear to be able to find its backside with both hands and a flashlite.
For those who say it’s only four years, and then there’s 2012, I’d point out that four years is a very long time during a time of war — America was only at war in WW-II for four years, by way of comparison. Lots of bad things can happen in four years. Lots of bad things.
I can’t pretend to tell Americans how to vote — I am a foreigner and it is really not for me to say — but I do hope that Conservatives can swallow hard and make sure that neither Obama nor Hillary sit in the Oval Office: anything is surely preferable to that.
You make far more sense then many so called Americans. Yet, some hold McCain to a higher standard. Hell, he served and was a POW. Yes, I do not like his poliicy on illegals. That policy will not be decided by a President as the blast faxes have worked. I damn sure fear four years of socialism.

God bless you.....wish you were an American who would vote.
I am definitely not a McCain fan....but, he’s got my vote......cause the thought of Hillary as President makes me ill and the thought of Obama as President is truly frightening. God help America.
