Where did you get that little meter? If that is a real number, where are the stats to show when and where the attacks were perpetrated?

I have a good reason for asking. A prof of mine said there were more deaths from peanut allergies than from terrorism. I challenged it and then he started adding conditions (e.g. U.S. only and Islamic and can’t be in a warzone, etc. etc.).

I thought that was underhanded. I checked and saw that 100 deaths per year are attributed to peanut allergies in the U.S. alone, but unlike some people, I think many of the injuries done by terrorism are almost as bad as death (blindness, paralysis, etc.)

The meter comes from TheReligionofPeace.com and is updated constantly.  They also maintain databases/lists of Islamic attacks (upon which the meter is based) at the bottom of their home page.

The lists are further explained here: http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Pages/TheList.htm
