The Clintons are resisting the disclosure of a document that could help clarify the New York senator's claims that she was "instrumental" in Northern Ireland peacemaking. The document's unlikely author: Chelsea Clinton. As a Stanford University senior in 2001, the former First Daughter wrote a 150-page thesis on the subject. Her faculty adviser, Prof. Jack Rakove, has said that Chelsea spoke with her father "at some length" about the negotiations. But the Clinton camp has declined to make it public.
Through Clinton aides, Chelsea has directed reporters to ask Stanford for the document. But Stanford says it doesn't have a copy in its library, and Rakove, who does have one, says that only Chelsea can give the green light. The thesis, says Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines, "was written to satisfy an academic requirement—not media curiosity."
Regardless of what Chelsea's thesis may reveal about her mother's role in the accord, some British officials remain sore at her father for one of his earliest decisions in the negotiating process. In 1994, Bill Clinton granted a U.S. visa to nationalist leader Gerry Adams at a time when the Provisional IRA, the clandestine affiliate of Adams's Sinn Fein movement, was still conducting a terrorist campaign.
A source close to Britain's former prime minister Sir John Major, who asked for anonymity when discussing a sensitive matter, says Major believes that Clinton's decision "set back the peace process," though Clinton was helpful later on.

Don't be so happy about Hillery going down in flames in the primary. She's beatable in the general election, Golden Boy is not.
I agree that much of the MSM is rallying around Obambi but I still think he is highly beatable in the general election. He has much far-left and racist “black liberation theology” baggage that WILL get more and more widely circulated via emails and blogs, talk radio, etc. It’s not like the old days (even 1996) where the MSM could so completely control much of the national dialogue.

As far back as the Clintons' infamous appearance on CBS's 60 Minutes, everybody knew they were lying. Later liberal 60 Min producer Don Hewitt said he knew it too---but he put them on anyway to flack their candidacy.
In the 1993 firing of the White House travel staff, investigators concluded Hillary's sworn testimony was "factually false."
In 2000, The NY Times said she is clearly "less than truthful"......
"The bigger the lie, the better the chance they think they've got. That's been their whole approach," former NJ Democrat Sen. Bill Bradley said earlier this month.
Clinton defector and Hollywood mogul David Geffen explained his exodus from the Clinton Camp, saying they lie "with such ease, it's troubling."
In 1996 William Safire said - “Hillary Clinton is a congenital liar.”
Since Chelsea is on the campaign trail but refuses to talk to any media, some (liberal, Obama-loving) columnist ought to write up a column with all the questions Chelsea should have to answer, if she ever would........it’s past time to treat Chelsea with kid gloves when she has first-hand knowledge of some of these lies. She is 28 years old and campaigning for her mother.... yet she KNOWS the sniper tale to be a fabriction. She KNOWS (from her extensive work on her own thesis) the tales of Hillary spearheading the Irish peace process to be a fabrication.
A major (liberal) columnist should say..... “Chelsea, we must ask you the following questions, and you MUST answer them before anyone will consider voting for your mother.....”
I keep having this horrible thought seeing Chelsea campaigning for Hillary:

Exactly! With every disparaging, demeaning, dehuminizing PREMEDITATED lie, Bill and Hillary Criminal have stolen the time of life of innocent, unwitting, hard-working, decent Americans.
