Gore ad likens GlobalWarming fight to D-Day!
Reuters ^ | Mar 31, 2008 | Deborah Zabarenko

The first ad likens the battle against climate change to U.S. troops storming the beaches at Normandy during World War Two, the struggle for civil rights and the drive to send humans to the moon.

"We didn't wait for someone else" to tackle these historic problems, the actor William H. Macy says in the spot. "We can't wait for someone else to solve the global climate crisis. We need to act now."

Where is Algore? Is he in London?

Snow in London forces cancellation of 50 Heathrow flights: BA

LONDON, April 6 (AFP) Apr 06, 2008
British Airways on Sunday cancelled 50 flights due to land at and takeoff from London Heathrow because of heavy snowfall, a BA spokeswoman said.
She added that 12 more flights were axed, bringing the total number of cancellations to 62 — because of ongoing computer glitches at the airport’s new Terminal 5.
Heavy snowfall fell across many parts of Britain overnight and Sunday.
“Air Traffic Control has reduced the number of aircraft that can take off and land per hour,” the BA spokeswoman said in a statement.
A spokeswoman for BAA, the operator of Heathrow, said both of the airport’s runways were briefly shut Sunday to de-ice tarmac.
British Airways meanwhile blamed BAA for the cancellation of 12 flights owing to technical glitches.
“As a result of the continuing BAA baggage system failure in Terminal 5 we have had to cancel six shorthaul return flights (six in and six out) on Sunday. We are urging BAA to resolve these issues as soon as possible,” the airline said in a statement.
British Airways had hoped to operate a full schedule on Saturday for the first time since the new terminal opened on March 27, but instead had been forced to cancel 24 short-haul flights at the start of the weekend.
The 4.3-billion-pound (8.7-billion-dollar, 5.6-billion-euro) terminal at one of the world’s busiest airports opened with much fanfare but became a public relations disaster within hours when the baggage handling system became overwhelmed.
BA said last week that it expected the chaotic opening of T5 to cost it about 16 million pounds.

“When do we get to call in air strikes against the enviro-whacks”? ....I wish we could. The other day, I saw the heads of the Major Oil companies act like “Pinadas” as those blow hard congressmen pontificated aboutn the prices of Gas and oil and the companies profits. If they were really committed to lower prices and energy independence, they would forget these costly alternatives and open up drilling in the U.S. to include Alaska which is the true path to energy independence. It’s the environmental idiots who have the well paid lobbyists that keeps things as they are. Wait till this summer when their costly seasonal legislated fuel additives start kicking in.

Macy is somewhat dummer than his character in “Fargo”.
A real moonbat. Algore must be figuring to profit a great deal from this set of commercials.
At some point..they will probably do an IPO of his carbon credit outfit..and make him a billionaire.
None of the MSM has done any reporting on his personal stake in this.

If Al Gore is so worried about the world, why doesn’t he do all this work for free? It would seem that if he is such a good citizen, he would help out the world. Remember folks.........everyone of these dooms day guys, say the problems will happen within 5-10 years...........no matter what century they are in. This stuff has been going on since the beginning of time. Israel is still waiting for the messiah to come. I’m not slamming the Jews..........but as an example, when the messiah comes, there is no need to collect any more money from the people to build their places of worship.........the messiah already came. Get it??????????

If Gore and his ilk don’t control their reach they may get a D-Day.

Gores’ lies, and those of the rest who are invested in ‘The Six Trillion Dollar Scam’ become more bizzare, with every passing day.

And it’s never the government’s fault. I’d love to see one of these CEOs point the finger at their overregulation and high taxes just once.

And don’t think for one minute that he does not target the hard-of-thinking population in this country. People that cannot think for themselves gravitate toward people like Algore. For the same reason that so many blacks gravitate toward they poverty pimps; they are stupid and uneducated.

Goebbels would be proud of Al Gore’s big lies.

And to think 20 years ago he and his wife were holding congressional hearings to burn records and convict store clerks of selling naughty music.
