John Kerry, the ultimate Metro sexual, in Philadelphia, when ordering a philly cheese steak sandwich, decided he wanted swiss cheese instead of the traditional cheez wizz.
Barak Obama, another metrosexual, in Philly took a slice of Italian ham ($100/lb) and passed on the philly cheese steak.
Visit a Starbucks and count the men who are more concerned with being seen in the “right place”, than a good cup of java.
Sorry, but a triple dipped roast beef can not compare to the solid man food found in the nations west, south, and on the interstates. I will give you this much, it does sound good, if you are just hungry. But if you are barbecue hungry, well.
And a metrosexual male is more concerned with appearances than actual quality. He shopps in the mall for designer blue jeans while the real men wear levis. He gets his hair “done” in a salon, while the rest of us go to the corner barber shop.
And we eat meat and potatos.

Been there about 50 times. I like it.

“Levis Gay Ad Targets Gay Market Consumers
The world of gay advertisements and gay targeted marketing moves fast. One of the noteworthy gay marketing and advertising moments is the Levi’s Jeans gay advertising campaign. Watch Levi’s gay ad on video here.”
“Gay Market News has written before about Levi’s Jeans and their advertising overtures towards the gay market.”
“Levi’s as a brand though is by no means a stranger to gay niche advertising communications targeted to the gay consumer via a gay media channel. In the 1990s, our Australian office was focus group testing ads run by Levi Strauss in specialist gay media for the Australian market, utilizing targeted gay ad communications messages.”
My uncle used to wax nostalgic about this place when he lived in Manhattan Beach.
