I suppose. You could always amend your return once filed. The problem is twofold: you are dependent on third parties to provide in a timely fashion documentary evidence and support (principally K-1s) and you open yourself to bigger questions on October 15 when your actual or amended return must be filed. High risk to charge ahead without perfect information and little upside (if any).

That said, I think she is creepy and desperate enough to file for an extension, grossly underpay her tax liability (and accept a penalty with some contrived excuse that is bought by the compliant, enabling MSM, but not the IRS) to create an acceptable public impression of her 2007 income, and fight for the nomination. The problem would be exposed on October 15—after the nomination is settled but before the general election, providing more grist for the mill.

2007 Tax filings are NOT due until April 15th....and if you’re NOT getting any money back, and have to PAY, why file BEFORE THEN????

I wonder how many people remember when they took tax deducts for old panties and boxer shorts they donated to the Salvation Army when Bill was Gov of Arkansas?

Can you imagine a homeless bag lady going to the Salvation Army and getting one of Hillary’s pantsuits today?

Austin Hill the other evening (WMAL Washington) said essentially the same thing, owning up to having filed for an extension him self from time to time. I’ve extended in two or three prior tax years. The 2000-2006 returns are public now. I will not fault the Clintons for filing an extension to their 2007 taxes.

but they have people

in fairness, I’m still working on mine for 2007 and may just go for an extension, but the figures won’t be in the Clintons stratospheric heights.

Bill is human. And for sure not gay.
Hillery? Human? You gotta be putting me on!
About as human as a crocodile or scorpion maybe.

The biggest stealth candidate of 2008?
Obama. All that money, hype and popularity! All without examination and critique of his voting records or anything else.

There is so much to harangue the Clintons over. Why bother them about the fact that they haven’t released their 2007 taxes BEFORE THEY’RE DUE!

Everyone in PA should re-register as Dems and vote for Hill to prolong the Dems’ political agony...
