"We didn't understand how dramatically abortion was affecting our community," she said. "The tradeoff between concentrating too much on other social issues and ignoring abortion has been a deadly tradeoff." Very true.
Since 1973 nearly 20 MILLION Blacks have been murdered in abortuaries. Abortion claims more Black victims EVERY THREE DAYS than all of the lynchings in history.

I wonder what Barack “I Never Met a Partial-Birth Abortion I Didn’t Like” Obama will have to say about this.
Never mind. I think I know.

Dr. Alveda King , who has suffered from multiple abortions,
I acknowledge her reaching enlightenment, but I find it disturbing that SHE is said to have suffered from the abortions and the suffering of the innocents who died because of her are is mentioned.
To gloss over their slaughter is to diminish their humanity and we see enough dehumanization of the unborn already.

The idea that an unborn human only has worth if its mother says it does is deranged. Each life has intrinsic value.

Amazing and disgusting numbers. Very sad.....

Go back and read what she has been doing for the past few decades. She has more than repented for what she has done, she has sought the Lord’s forgiveness and she has dedicated her life to showing other women why they need not repeat her mistakes.
You might recall the story of a man named Saul of Tarsus kept watch while Saint Stephen was stoned, he then went on to become a central figure in Christianity.

I wasn't criticizing Dr. King, as I said, I acknowledge she has found enlightenment on the subject of murdering the innocent unborn.
I was criticizing the writer for making Dr. King out to be the "victim" of the abortions without mentioning the true victims.

Dr. Alveda King , who has suffered from multiple abortions, says the destruction of human life is on par with the lack of civil rights of her uncle's generation. I'm a little confused by this sentence. Am I to understand that she has had multiple abortions but is pro-life?

Yes, that would be correct.
Saul of Tarsus also persecuted Christians and sought their deaths.
John Henry Newton owned slave ships.
People repent and God changes them, and He often uses their greatest sins to do the most good for others.
