If we Texans stopped robbing the state gas tax fund for education. That would be a huge step in the right direction. Currently 25% of all state gas tax dollars is stolen for education. I don't have kids, don't want kids;why should my gas taxes be used for anything else other than keeping the roads maintained that I drive on.
