Austin is so far behind in road construction, i’m so glad i moved to Dallas I would not trade my morning commute down 635 for south bound mopac anyday of the week. 8 miles in Austin takes 45+ mins creeping down mopac where as 25 miles in Dallas takes 30 to 40 mins at the same time of day 8 am rush hour. People do 80 mph in bumper to bumper traffic up here just like LA it's amazing. I love it cops have better crap to do than write tickets to tens of thousands going 10-15 over the limit. I have a picture on my camera phone of my speedo at 80 mph with a car 20 feet in front of my bumper at 1705 on a wends after noon on 635 westbound. I just had to take a pic my friends in "Austun" refuse to believe every one speeds up here. Try that on slow-pac assuming one could get up to speed the damn motorcycle cops stop people for 3 over I know I got a ticket for THREE MPH over at south mopac and 183 last time I went to the liberal Mecca for holiday.
