Wasn’t there a story a few days ago about 3rd graders conspiring to kill their teacher? Maybe she was just trying to be prepared.
LOL. That’s exactly what I thought about when I read this. Scary, scary stuff.
I left Calif 18 years ago, when my daughter was entering school. I had moved there 10 years previously and had 4 sons in the schools there - where even THEN, there were 6'chain link fences around the schools and two deputy sheriffs on the grounds at all times - and STILL there would be a week or more in the first month of each year that I would keep my sons home due to the riots, the beatings and the killings...
teachers were scared silly.
It was a war zone then - I can't even imagine how it is now, 18 years later...
I would put a knapsack on my back and walk half away across the country for another job before I'd stay in one of those schools
