I was told “Honky” is actually a Hawaiian term. The native Hawaiians thought that english sounded like geese honking (does Hawaii even have geese?). As for cracker - I am from New York - I only heard the word for the first time last year. Am I supposed to be offended??

Yes, a hawaiian goose is a “nene”. Serious.

(We cross-worders know that one!)
