I don't have enough information to document it, but I'll add this to the discussion: A few years ago, a CNN reporter (woman) was covering demonstrations by Palestinians. They did a close up of a young Palestinian girl which looks like this: The CNN reporter says, "Will she ever know peace in her lifetime." Of course, in Palestine, this is no a "peace" sign...it is the symbol for "victory." As in kill Israelis.

How very sad. The little girl is gorgeous!

BTW, it is the symbol for "victory" in the USA as well.
Just because the commies stole it and changed the meaning, does not mean we have to acknowledge it.
