Not that her father couldn't have comforted her but 13 is tough and talking with your mom is bad enough! LOL

Dad's may not be much on the tenderness and affection thing, but the comfort she could have gotten from her father was the satisfaction of watching him beat them to a bloody pulp when he found out what happened.

True! That's why if I get the call to come to school...dh better be right behind me so he could deal with the idiots while I grab our child.

I'm thinking back to when I was that age and I know I would have wanted my mom if it came down to a choice between the two.

I'm sure my brother would have wanted our dad, though.

For all the talk of rape and sexual abuse and stuff...I don't agree but I will agree that this was a huge invasion of personal privacy that would really be tough to experience, especially for a child. :( Poor thing.
