You’d think that a kid who’d figured out perspective and shading could now focus on lettering and handwriting.

Drawing skills at level: B+
Handwriting: D-

The shading is good. In my opinion, the perspective and composition are clunky, especially the mountain peaks. And I agree that, if he couldn’t write letters all the same size, at least, he should have used a stencil!

As I said, it’s not a landscape drawing. It’s a high-school-kid-average symbolic drawing, showing okay technique in some parts. The “zero” grade is silly, though - bound to attract unwelcome attention. Why not just give him a C?

The kid should have asked the teacher to suggest installing foot baths in the bathrooms instead. The school administration would have been fine with that.

Click on the link at post #43 to see what the teacher did allow as suitable subject matter.

I saw them. However, I doubt those drawings were submitted for the “landscape” assignment. Presumably they’re shown to demonstrate that the teacher’s definition of “religious” or “violent” content is quirky, to say the least.

Are those drawings of the demons controlling this teacher?

It's about time that Christians started using the courts to expose the Marxist indoctrination plots for what they are. This is a trend that I hope continues. I will pray for continued strength for this boy and his family.
