When it comes to being labeled "a liberal," Barack Obama is dismissive. "Oh, he's liberal. He's liberal," he said recently in describing a characterization of him by Republicans. "Let me tell you something. There's nothing liberal about wanting to reduce money in politics. It's common sense. . . . There's nothing liberal about wanting to make sure that everybody has health care."
Mr. Obama needs to inoculate himself against the claim that he's a liberal. For the past quarter-century it has been consistently the most effective charge made by Republicans against Democrats. America is a center-right country and in modern times has not elected a thoroughgoing liberal as president (Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton ran as moderate Democrats). The problem is that, by any reasonable standard, Mr. Obama is an orthodox liberal.
National Journal rated him as the most liberal person in the Senate in 2007, and for good reason. On economic policy, Mr. Obama favors higher income, Social Security and corporate taxes. He supports massive increases in domestic spending and greater government regulation of the economy. He favors a significantly larger role for the federal government in health care. He opposes the North American Free Trade Agreement.
Mr. Obama has criticized the Supreme Court's decision to uphold a partial birth abortion ban, and he wants to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act. He voted against John Roberts and Samuel Alito for the Supreme Court. In Illinois, Mr. Obama supported banning the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns. And he supports granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.

“L” also stands for “Leftist.”
Obama is the most liberal candidate to come down the pike since George McGovern. Hopefully he’ll share McGovern’s fate as well. In the meantime, Obama is lying through his teeth in an attempt to convince people that he’s not a liberal.
It’s amazing how no one will self-identify themselves as liberal, no matter how liberal their positions or policy.
Bambi says he is not a liberal. McCain says he is a conservative. Neither speaks the truth.
Bambi is a flat-out liberal and he's simply lying about it. If we can't nail him on this then we deserve to lose.
In 2004, Liveshot went hunting and prattled on about his "personal opposition" to abortion, etc. to hide his liberalism. Bambi's appoach is to say that there's simply no such thing as a liberal. We have to be able to defeat this ruse.
“L” also stands for “Liar.”
In our nation, only moderates and conservatives win elections. This is why Obama’s general election chances rest on tricking voters into believing he is some sort of centrist moderate who reaches out to Republicans, even thought there is no evidence to prove this.
This is why we should continue to remind the voter about Obama’s extremist liberalism.
His voting record doesn't lie.
Remember, the “P” in Liberal stands for Patriot.
Pass it on.
Supporters of Raila Odinga, the leading presidential challenger, rallied in Kibera, a slum near Nairobi.(According to the NY Times this is a "rally")
These people are rallying in support of BARAK OBAMAS FIRST COUSIN WHO WAS NAMED PM OF KENYA YESTERDAY)
Mr. Odingas (BARAK OBAMAS FIRST COUSIN, WHO HE CAMPAIGNED IN KENYA FOR)followers tried to march from Kibera to Nairobi.

Odinga supporters riot in December 2007(ODINGA IS BARAK OBMAMS FIRST COUSIN, OBAMA CAMPAIGNED FOR HIM IN KENYA IN 2006)
now, what does "L" stand for again?
There are a few things I believe that make it impossible for me to vote for Obama.
1. I am white and actually respect myself.
2. I believe in true racial equality.
3. I’m proud to be an American.
4. I believe Americans have the right to own guns for protection.
5. I believe Americans are responsible for their own well-being.
6. I believe human life is precious.
7. I think family is important and shouldn’t be used or slandered for political gain.
8. I believe foreign countries should pay us for keeping the world safe.
Yep - I started referring to them as Leftists some time ago. Many were equating “liberal” with “favoring or permitting freedom of action, esp. with respect to matters of personal belief or expression”. They sure don’t favor allowing anyone with different idea to express them. They definitely arent accepting of others.
“Liberals” ain’t very liberal.
In this case, Left Side of town, Latino, Liberal ...
SOCIALIST
what, not “loser?” :)
Right on!
