Agreed. And I hope Israel turns a defiantly deaf ear to continuing calls emanating from some American contingents, at the U.N. and from elsewhere across the globe, to give P-E-A-C-E a chance.

Although, we now know for certain -- since we just heard it from al zawahiri himself -- that al qaeda does NOT kill innocents. < Sarcasm: OFF > So, it follows that this must also be true whether the killer muckrakers hail from Iran, Syria or other regions or whether they slither within Hamas, Hizbollah or any of the multitude of other organized hate groups.

Couldn't agree more. Our "peace" efforts have done more to encourage more violence than anything else. Gaza is the biggest example. Israel left the infrastructure in place for one of their biggest produce systems. The pali's first thing was to destroy that and the rest of the infrastructure - turning that area into a cesspool. Now Hamas is getting help with longer range and more powerful rocket, Hezzies have 3X the rockets they had before, and Syria is feeling frisky, thinking that Israel is weak. Israel's defensive has been allowed to weaken, painting themselves into a corner. If they get hit with LR Syrian rockets - damascas will likely get nuked - Israel has few other options if a rocket blitzkreig opens up.
