Every morning there are CD alerts on the volcanic activity ever since Hale Ma'uma'u caldera went off a couple weeks back. Smoke, ash and SO4 warnings for the leeward areas. The lava flow from Pu'u O'o vent is still productive, flowing into the sea, and is a big tourist attraction, so the CD alerts also broadcast parking availability at the viewing area access point. Tourists are reminded to obey the traffic signs.
