Waycross is a small town on the brass buckle of the bible belt. You can’t swing a cat without hitting a church. Not saying that they HAVE heard the 10 commandments, just that it’s very hard not to in that town.

But they HAVE been exposed to an awful lot of violence. The average child will have seen 8,000 murders on TV by the time he finishes elementary school.

Considering what I’ve seen parents let kids watch on TV, it’s no surprise they get ideas like this.
