Rove is one of these guys who the left has radically misjudged, and obviously so. It's clear evidence the left's judgement can't be trusted. Sometimes you look at a complex issue and the left will have a few valid points. Sometimes I'll think, well maybe my conservatism is just a result of my brain chemistry or something, and that if somehow I could be totally detached, maybe I'd see the left as valid too -- like maybe it's all just a perspective thing. But then I look at the way they're just 100% wrong about Rove (and Reagan, and all the other guys they think are devils), and I know that there is indeed one side that's right and another that's wrong, and that I'm on the right side. So I see the left's crazy demonization of Rove as a kind of comforting validation of my worldview.

I don’t think very many on the left ‘misjudged’ Rove’s character anymore than they ‘misjudged’ Ken Starr’s.
MSM and popular culture encourage the craziest disconnects. Karl Rove is a bottom-feeding spawn of the devil but James Carville is just a colorful Cajun.
Doesn't the Left attempt to destroy those who they cannot otherwise beat?
