To: Mr. Silverback

We will always have a choice between liberals and idiots as long as we continue to support candidates like McCain. Yes, we had better choices, but for some reason the Republican voters went for McCain. Well, the Republicans can slit their own throats if they want, but they will have to do it without me. It is not that I am so righteous, it is just that I can’t stand compromising my beliefs any longer. Either a person stands for something or he/she doesn’t. In other words, I am not going to do anymore whoring for the GOP.

I stand for the United States having a qualified C-in-C instead of a defeatist moron. That's enough for me. If you want to talk to people about selling out conservatism, go talk to someone who voted for McCain in their primary. I didn't.

Exactly. If McCain somehow gets elected what are the chances of ever getting a more (meaning actual) conservative GOP candidate for POTUS in the future? The bar is being consistently lowered.
