Now that is interesting....I am a taker or Vytorin,...and it drops the cholesterol count for me,...but gives me a problem with sore muscles....
FYI:

The entire diet/heart/cholesterol theory is a scam. Much along the same lines as human induced global warming.
Or replace the Statin with Red Yeast RiceConsider taking Coenzyme Q10 with the statin.
Tell your doc! Statins can cause myopathy.
Interviewer: To what do you attribute your longevity ?
Julia Childs, Chef: Red meat and gin.
Ernest, my wife and I were prescribed Vytorin by the doc for marginal chlorestorol numbers.
We both developed pains in our lower legs within days, something neither of us had ever had before. We are both in early fifties with excellent health records and no major problems.
We stopped taking Vytorin. We take flaxseed oil capsules instead.
The leg pain stopped whe the Vytorin stopped.
BTW, we told the doc why. And you should tell the doc if you have muscle pains—he should know as muscle pain is something I believe the drug literature says he should be told.
