The Muslim numbers are more out of a massive (and unsustainable) birthrate, than anything else.

I remember reading that in the late 70’s, Middle East oil producing nations had per-capita incomes that rivaled those in the West. After a generation, that figure went down to a fifth, a number that matched the fertility rates of the women there.

However, one of Muhammad’s few likable characteristics was that he never claimed himself to be perfect although billions of Muslims think so today.

He got Allah to claim it for him:

Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.

So Allah himself proclaims Mohammod to be an ideal man whose conduct is to be emulated by all Muslims -- down to every act of pedophila, rape, robbery and murder

However, if you follow Muhammad biography recorded by famous Muslim scholars such as Bukhari, Ibn Ishaq, Al tabari you will find many incidences of Muhammad being far from a perfect, sinless man. His cruelty towards Jews, Meccan Pagans and his rivals is well recorded by Muslim historians. He massacred three entire Jewish tribes - Banu Nadir, Banu Qurayaza and Banu Qaynuqa; killed the prince of Khaibar and made his wife captive to his tent: there are numerous examples; you just have to read the Muslim biographers in any translation you wish.

Hossain simply does not get it.

In Islam, murder of "infidels" is not a sin. In Islam, murder of infidels is a Sacrament

The only thing sustaining the Middle East countries is their high emigration rates of unproductive underclass/working-class men to the West. Otherwise their economies would collapse.
