Seems to me that the internet would be perfect for this sort of thing - set up an anonymous tip site, and let people give tips anonymously.

Of course, if the average IQ of the potential tipsters is down around 85 [which it will be], then it's gonna be mighty difficult for them to figure out how to navigate a website and enter data into it [seeing as how they will almost certainly be functionally illiterate].

And, quite frankly, with AA, I doubt that the average IQ of the officers assigned to investigate the cases will be a whole lot greater than 85, either.

That's assuming they have access to a computer. I suspect most don't have one in their homes either because they can't afford one or homeowners fear it will be one more reason for criminals in a high crime area to break into their homes.

I don’t blame the people who are afraid to report crime.....didn’t Italians and the Irish in New York basically ho-hum crime so as not to anger the mob rulers?
