No offense but that sounds exactly like moonbat reasoning. Many if not most heart surgeons consider bad cholesterol to be enemy numero uno. Now a moonbat will say the doctors are part of the conspiracy but personally I suspect that besides water everything we consume has benefits and costs and we'll never reach the end of these studies.
They have been able to get reliable evidence from the raising of "good" cholesterol.

Cancer isn’t caused by viruses...oops it actually can be. Salt causes high blood pressure, caffeine is bad, radon kills, should I go on about discredited medical wisdom. Cholesteral is right up there with global warming.
Over half of of heart attack victims have no blockage. The vast majority of people with high cholesteral never have heart problems.
Interesting enough that the same bacteria responsible for plaque in arteries is the same one found on your teeth. Could flouride prevent heart decay?
It is becoming common knowledge that INFLAMMATION is a bigger problem than cholesterol....or it SHOULD be....but, I’m not sure there’s enough money in the drugs for inflammation....
