I have used the Earth At Night graphic for some time to demonstrate in stark, graphical terms, the where it is on this planet that you find civilization, and where you do not.
Hmmm...I guess there's no civilization here -- just PRISONERS

I decided to bake (I used my mircowave, oven (both of them), 5 of my 6 burners, I made some coffee, used my ELECTRIC CAN OPENER, all of my electric kitchen appliances - did a few load of wash and left my desktop computer on -- and left 3 TVs on...).
I did my part!

I think I’ll burn some ancient redwood in the fire pit too, just for good measure.
Make sure that the SPOTTED OWLS are not in the REDWOOD, or you might have SPOTTED OWL for dinner. (Tastes like chicken!)
