Well, at any rate the really cool thing is that short period in time when Hendrix and the Monkees were vying for top of the charts. I recall music being so interesting back then. I recall When Mike Douglas asked Jimi What it was like to be the best guitarist on the planet and Jimi said “I dont know, ask Phil Keaggy”

Dittos that! I’ve heard so much music that I’m put off by some of the things that pass for it now, and if I want to listen, I’m greedy and want to hear what I consider worthy. I’m slow to find the cutting edge of music these days because to me the blades are all so dull!
