Capt. Tom Aguigui declined to say how investigators think the window was broken. Pretty crack team of investigators on this case. The lady and kid will be looking at hard time by the time their finished.

The slow trickle of info on this is concerning.

Don’t worry they will think up a story to justify the cop. They always do. Some stories are just harder to come up with.

The police are waiting to interview the cop’s wife. Presently, she can’t hear.

I'm trying to picture this ...
An off-duty cop, driving with his wife in the car, for some reason opens up on another car... THROUGH HIS OWN CLOSED WINDOW.
That other car has a woman and a child in it .. and the off-duty cop hits them both ... the child accidently (it seems)
This comes under the category of, WTF ?

their = investigators It's two words: "They are"
In writing "They're" is an acceptable contraction. Never "their"

Exactly why I get disturbed by some of these stories. I support our folks wearing the badge but they are not above the law and are public servants. They are our employees but for some they think they are above the law, and many are mere additional tax collectors, truth be told.

Me too!!
Althought many posters on this site absolutely BUTCHER the use of "their", "there", and "they're".

.... if indeed it was ever leraned at all.I couldn't find "leraned" in my dictionary. I do think that I understand the meaning you intended.
