WOW on the pledge, GeeBee, it's awesome....is it Friday already? The week seems to have gone by fast. It is hot in the sun here, but then a chill wind blows through... strange combo, but typical Spring weather. Everything is starting to bloom and/or bud out, for example wisteria and a native plant called ceanothus. It has deep blue violet flowers.... just do an image search on that name, you will see...:):) What a time of year to not be able to post images or right-click, lol!!!

I've been a whirl of projects this week, painting a ceramic angel and even dusting and cleaning furniture. Got my tax returns done too. So, how is your family, including your doggie who I know is a sweetie. When I get acquainted with dogs of friends, I am fine with them but practice caution with strange dogs. A neighbor has an all-white lab who is a darling:):)

Hello, stopem!! Long time, no see. Indeed, we love our troops.
I was walking by the neighborhood dry cleaners a few days ago, and saw this car with camo uniforms stacked on the roof. The troop, who I think was a Marine, was getting more stuff outa the trunk. I simply said, “thank you for serving” and he said back, “that is much appreciated, Ma’am” in that squared-away Marine-speak. Great moment!!

You might consider a different shade of carpet... to match the trackings!!! LOL.

Mine is hopeless, I seem to be very hard on carpet even though I try not. For example, always shoeless in the house. But food, beverages, candle wax, whatnot have a way of escaping.

We miss you!
You sound like you have been very busy this week. It's still chilly here. But should warm up a little bit. Tomorrow should be a nice day. I'm still puppy sitting. Boy does she keep me busy, such energy. Audy is doing great. :)

Another week flew by. They do go so quickly. It must be great to see flowers again. I looked up, ceanothus :) They are gorgeous.

I guess they don’t have Ritalin for puppies...? LOL. If she doesn’t have a nickname yet, “The Yipster” sounds perfect... heehee.

The color is the thing with ceanothus. The luminous deep blue purple against the very deep green of the leaves is stunning. Wow, you found a pic!!:) That must be an ultra close-up. Anyway, it smells good and the bees love it... they are gaily swarming the bushes.
