Yeah, I can’t believe the heartless remarks. This child is dying she doesn’t understand what’s going on with her daddy. I sure hope no one here has to rely on the decency of others in a heartbreaking situation like this.
So, any inmate who has a dying child, or spouse, or parent, or sibling should be granted a leave to go visit? Who grants these leaves, and will this require a doctor's note or something? Who's going to verify the millions of inmate requests for these visits? Who is going to supervise all these inmates visiting sick relatives? Are we going to trust hardened criminals to go visit a sick cousin and come back to prison on his own?
