I assumed DNC head Howard Dean.
I must say, with all this infighting and the bitterness on the Dem side, the Republicans may have a chance this year. I’m NOT enthusiastic about McCain, but for a variety of reasons his VP pick will be one of the most important decisions in the whole campaign. I give it a 50-50 chance he’ll make a good pick, as opposed to going out of his way to give conservatives another thumb in the eye.
Sorry - didn’t intend to hijack the discussion.

I got a call from the RNC asking for a contribution. I told them not until we find out who McCain chooses as his running mate.
The guy babble on about winning seats in Congress for the Republicans. Told him if we didn’t have a real conservative on the Ticket as VP,don’t call me back.
At that point in time I told him I was willing to let the chips fall where they may.
He was speechless. Hope the call was recorded for “Quality”
purposes.
Money talks, but as I grow older I’ve found the lack of it speaks louder.
