I know people who were there when she was. To say they are pissed is an understatement. They consider it a slap in the face, first and foremost because most of them had been shot at, at some point, and second that she acts as if they didn't bust their asses to provide her security. It probably cost more to secure that base for her visit than she's raised in her entire campaign, and the taxpayers paid for it.
The thing that bothers me, is that some "Republicans" (and I use the term loosely nowadays) were encouraging other "Republicans" to vote for her in the primaries to drag this thing out. I'm wondering just what in the hell they are thinking giving her even a slight chance at getting into the White House. I'm not even talking about Rush Limbaugh (I'm thinking he's been hitting the drugs again), just normal people.
I hope every "real" Republican who voted for Hillary in the primaries feels ashamed of themselves - she's insulting our military, and their votes are part of what has helped keep her in contention.
