Over the holiday, my wife, daughter, grandson and I went into Pittsburgh.

Before we left the car, my grandson said. "You're going to strap it on, aren't you gramps"?

I said, It's like my American Express card, I don't leave home without it".

I would never leave my family unprotected by leaving my gun in the vehicle while we were walking the streets in Pittsburgh.

Didn't need it and hope I never do, but it's not that heavy.

I totally agree with you. People often lump Pittsburgh in with Philly but it certainly is different in Pittsburgh in regards to gun control. All of the crying about gun control comes out of Philly. In Pittsburgh there is not the high gun crime and the politicians there have no desire to put in new gun restrictions.

I have my conceal carry and though I don’t expect any sniper fire like Hillary it’s there just in case.

I take it by your moniker you were in the Navy. Fellow naval personnel tipping my cap to you...

You’re safe in most of Da ‘Burgh.

Exceptions:

The Hill
Homewood
Point Breeze
Duquesne
Clairton.

Just stay out of those areas.
