There would have been an immediate and HUGE investigation of the entire chain of command, just to find out how such an incident-—an attempt on the First Lady’s life-—could have happened on the command’s watch.

And there sure as hell would not have been any sing-alongs that evening.

The First Lady and her party would have been extricated from there immediately-—under fighter escort or in a tank in echelon-—and the entire base would have been locked down and on red alert until people figured out what the hell had happened and how.

Not just that, but wouldn't we have heard about it already, seen the footage on the news at that time, the press covering an overseas trip of the First Lady?

As so many others have said, how anyone can defend this tripe, considering it is just the latest in the long line of lies she's told about her life, "I was named for Sir Edmund Hillary," "I decided at the tender age of 27 to leave a comfortable life with Bill and join the Marines," "Of course I had no insider info, I was able to turn straw into gold by studying the Wall Street Journal," etc., etc., ad infinitem, ad nauseum, is beyond my ken.
