I really think Syesha made the best song choices. Archuleta was very good but I guess I am just not into him like those crazed, screaming fans are. I am among those other crazed, screaming fans for Cook! "Reeling'" just about put me to sleep. These songs/skits are so cheesy. I could barely even hear the 4 of them singing.
I am not too sure I like the Q and A sessions. It can be funny but most of the time I feel like just going off to the kitchen and getting myself a snack while muting this part of the show.
David Cook wasn't on his toes when asked out by the girl in PA. Hey, I live in PA, I would have been very offended too! LOL Yep, Ryan saved the poor girl from being totally humiliated and made a good save. Still, that is pretty lame putting a guy on the spot like that! Can you say many others wouldn’t have done the same? Get rid of the Q & A session, IMO.
It was 10 times worse with Archie and Jason’s responses! DUH, trying to overcome my brain being dead?? Guess we couldn’t expect anything else really. Archie, so cute and naïve and just giggles while saying I Dunno, Sorry! Great job, guys! WOOOOOHOOOO! Who really pays much attention to this worthless segment anyway? Ok, we do, but then should we really care? Yes, they will have to deal with the public so they need to work on this area.
Syesha has really put her heart and soul into the past 2 week’s performances. Most improved, I would say. Looking forward to her performances this week. Will be very interesting.
I don’t understand why Jason didn’t sing the song that sent him packing. After all, the other contestants have to. He couldn’t keep those dreds out of his way while playing guitar. That was so annoying. The whole darn performance was annoying and embarrassing. What a flake and what a waste. Thank goodness he is gone.
As for that being a silent plea of Jason to get kicked off, I think that kid is so far gone that nothing matters to him at all. He is a goofball! If he left, OK, but then if he won, OK that would work too. Jason- I don’t give a f#$% about anything but my pot. WEEEEE let’s get high!!! I will say he didn’t have a terrible voice and he can play guitar, but just nothing special about him. He never, ever belted it out and as DoughtyOne said, it didn’t come from his chest, but his throat. He was mediocre and not nearly as talented as the others. Up, up and away in a puff of smoke! No, I don’t think Bob Marley will become a fan!
My note: Cook could star in "Hair" and Archuleta could star in a remake of Grease? How's that, Apropo?

I enjoyed Bo Bice’s performance much better than Maroon 5. Actually, I muted it because I cannot stand that lead singer’s voice. It was like somebody’s nails scratching on a blackboard! Maybe that is how you felt with Bo’s performance. Whatever floats our boats, right?
