Are you SURE about that “Unaffiliated” stuff"?

In Ohio that was the same as "independent", which only allowed you to vote on issues.

I say in for a penny, in for a pound - just register as a rat. That way you'll get on their mailing list and they'll waste rat money sending you stuff.

In NC, unaffiliated voters choose on the spot which ballot (R,D, or Lib) they want, and vote accordingly.

Yes. I have already re-registered in NC from Republican to Unaffiliated. In NC you can register as “Unaffiliated” which is our word for “Independent” and vote for whoever you want in the Primary that appears on the ballot. If anyone is not sure, you can research this yourself. Which means you can pull the lever for Hildebeast (or Obama if suddenly needed at the last moment) thus insuring both Socialists reach Denver where the final implosion and meltdown will be spectacular. The Rush Haters here and those who are wringing their hands seem to want to prevent Hillary and Obama colliding at the convention in Denver. There is little if any downside to that scenario. If Hillary drops out today, all the Rat energy, hatred and focus suddenly gets directed squarely at McCain & Republicans. Seems like some posters here want that to happen sooner than later and that is the worst of all the choices available.

In NC if you register un affiliated, you choose the ballot at the voting booth. You get to vote for the same things that everybody else. The only difference is the primary, you just get the rep or dem ballot.
