I’m in the process of having a new house built nearby in Mt Dora. The house is just south of state route 46 and a little west of Sorento. Closing is scheduled by April 18th.
The house is fully equipped with video cameras and various alarms. There are sensors on all the doors and windows as well as smoke alarms and glass break detectors feeding into a monitored alarm system.
I had received a prophetic word through a prophet friend that I should have a full security system installed including video cameras to monitor the house. It didn’t make much sense at the time I received the word because the community is a new very nice gated community and it was thought to be in a low crime area.
We also have two dogs, A Rottweiler and a Pinscher so I am not worried about safety.
I am currently living in the Longwood area and my wife and I have been driving through Sorrento twice a week to monitor the construction on the new house.
Sounds as if you have a very good security system in place.
I hope you never have any trouble there.
But speaking of "there", if you need to go to such lengths to protect your property, are you sure it is a good idea to move there?
The video would be great for id’ing the perps for LE.May i reccomend a 12 guage shotgun w/in easy reach if LE can’t reach you in time?
