Just FYI. The Predator crew operate from the States. However, the maintainers work from deployed locations halfway across the world.

Supply procurement difficulties and duty day work hour limits for maintenance crews plays heavily into this.

Say again, over? While I am enjoying truly scheduled work hours right now, I've always understood that I was there until there were enough "up" aircraft for the next day's schedule. Be that 12, 15, even 20 hours if required. And that was ashore, and stateside.
