I got my first CCW permit, approved by a judge that stamped it (like all others he issued) with “for sporting use only” (meaning I couldn’t CCW for defense, only for hunting etc.). Some years later he was removed for office for being heavily involved in cocaine trafficing. Do the math.
I guess you could just think of shooting burglars and tyrants as sporting and you’d be just fine!
