"Abortion is the Darfur of the African-American community. We must work together towards ending abortion," he said. Yes it is.

Barack has confronted this issue. He wants to be able to kill those little suckers even after they are born.

AGI found black women were 4.8 times as likely as non-Hispanic white women to have an abortion. Who made all those abortion mills so assessable?
Planned parenthood sure isn't a backer of the Pub party.

Ain’t gonna happen.
What would these liberals have to sacrifice on the alter of their secular Moloch???

Obama voted that it should be OK to kill this...Even though a million couples (including my family :-) would be delighted to adopt that adorable child.
One has to conclude that Obama and his ilk simply long to kill. Since they don't have the guts to kill white adults (who might defend themselves, after all) killing black babies will have to do.

The Offspring themselves sometimes tell me that, especially the ones sharing a room with four brothers :-). They don’t really mean it!
I learned recently that some long-lost friends of mine from Texas (out of touch at least 10 years) recently adopted three teenagers whose parents had died. Their father was Kenyan, deported and then died in Kenya, and the American mother had a stroke and died, probably due to the stress of her husband’s deportation and death.
My point is that there are *no* unwanted children - just lots of people who often stand between the children and the people who want to care for them. I’m very surprised that the system allowed a white couple with two children of their own at home to adopt this group of black teens.

My point is that there are *no* unwanted children - just lots of people who often stand between the children and the people who want to care for them. And it has always been this way. When the left tries to take credit for increasing adoption, they invariably fail to point out that almost all of the adoptions are overseas (generally from eastern Europe and China), there simply aren't any American babies to adopt.

Domestic adoptions, especially of babies, can be very difficult. As I said, I’m surprised my friends were able to adopt, although I’m sure it helped that they knew the family while the parents were living. It’s usually very hard for white people to adopt black children of any age.

And unfortunately a lot of white families don’t want to adopt non-white children (especially older children) and it is very easy to go to eastern Europe and adopt a baby that “looks” like them.

IT’S ALL WHITEY’S FAULT!
I read that more than 1 in 3 pregnancies among black women end in abortion.

Good point. That reminds me of the story (last year?) about the 60-year-old woman in England who wanted to deliver a baby. They chose to use a Russian woman’s ova with the old woman’s husband’s sperm, because they didn’t want a baby that looked “Mediterranean.”
To be fair to adoptive parents, though, the orphan children in Eastern Europe and Russia are often desperately needy.

Were it not for the willingness of so many American and western European couples to adopt eastern European and Chinese babies the abortion rates there would be much higher (and they are among the highest in the world to begin with).

That sounds fairly accurate,
Dr. Alveda King, Martin Luther King's niece, is a very prominent pro-life leader and she talks a lot about the incredibly high abortion rates among blacks.

Blame Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood.
