Of course set to be broadcast during a national election year. Probably will re run during the week before the Nov. election
Any learned projections on the potential costs of NOT taking the war to the terrorists’ home court?
Didn’t think so.
Bush's War: PBS/FRONTLINE. Note that the poster FilmCutter claims to be "the editor on the project" and projects himself as "your humble conservative editor.".
I'm going to post a link there to this thread...
This certainly does not agree with filmcutter’s take. When in doubt, go against the PBS employee.
That's what I took from this. And that's why I wanted to link the two threads.
And why I pinged filmcutter.
I was the editor (the cutter of pictures and sound) and proud to be a part of this program.

“Bush Bash’s PBS (again) and the New York Times Helps”
What a strange coincidence that the Bush administration recently submitted the largest funding cut ever proposed for public broadcasting, and next week, PBS’ distinguished Frontline series will mark the fifth anniversary of the Iraq invasion by airing Bush’s War, which PBS describes as television’s definitive documentary analysis of the war.

I hope you all watch !
Yes, but if you will check Film Cutter's posting history as I did, you will find that they only post when one of their films comes out and therefore they are not a true Freeper by any means. Given those facts, I personally think that other thread should be treated as an advertisement by a troll and he/she should banished.
Another opinion:
http://www.wnbc.com/politics/15690826/detail.html?rss=ny&psp=nationalnews
“Richly told, “Bush’s War” is a political thriller, all the more so for unfolding in the no-nonsense “Frontline” fashion, with the series’ signature narrator (Will Lyman) lending his somber off-screen presence.
“Bush’s War” gives us heightened understanding of a situation whose anniversary we will almost certainly be marking again and again. Meanwhile, the film is a pointed reminder of what “Frontline” delivers every week: an in-depth, no-glitz examination of something significant and without commercial interruptions or pre-break teasers (”Coming up next...!”).”
Hmmm....
I figured someone would look into it. I just didn't have the time (or inclination, it being PBS).
ok, ok, I fold.
I just offer the program to share with you all instead of the usual set of liberal viewers the shows I cut get.
no doubt my last time.
watch or not, I will however continue to keep FR at the top of my morning read so I’m sure I’ll see all your posts again.
PBS = Publically-funded Bullsh!t System
Of course we only want to allow "true" Freepers to post. Obviously, only "true" Freeper have anything worthwhile to say and we can safely ignore all others.
Hey! All you Trolls out there who aren't true Freepers! Get off our board!
I just offer the program to share with you all instead of the usual set of liberal viewers the shows I cut get.
Are you saying here you usually share your output with liberals, but occasionally throw conservatives a 'bone'? At least that's the way your remark reads to me...
But, I doubt you'll find many on this forum who are happy with PBS, for a number of good reasons. However, do continue to read FreeRepublic. It's enlightening and educational.
The words ‘PBS’ and ‘Frontline’ are enough to cause me to avoid this waste of air time. If they told the truth, how would we know?
