The figure was between 1,200 to 2,500 civilians and 1,002 soldiers.

Serbia to this day has not produced an accurate accounting of their losses during Allied Force - or at least has not made the accounting public.

Either way, it is odd that they prefer to keep the information to themselves, rather than releasing it to the Serbian public. It's almost as if they prefer to use the gray area to exploit for propaganda purposes, but we know no responsible government would do such a thing, don't we.

Milosevic, btw, used HRW's numbers when his State Prosecutor mounted his little dog and pony show of a trial in Belgrade against NATO.

” . . . but we know no responsible government would do such a thing, don’t we.”

People who live in glass houses . . .

To support the war, your great hero Klinton and his pal Notsobright, through the State Department on April 19, 1999 claimed that the Serbs “were feared to have” killed 500,000 ethnic Albanians. 500,000! Your big “massacre” was 40-45 in Racak. Klinton used a 100,000 murdered figure from Secretary of Defense William Cohen. Those were the numbers the MSM reported.

You’re talking about the Serbs upping the number by a thousand or two for “propaganda” purposes. That argument is, at best, disingenuous.

Maybe you still believe the MSM and the Klintonistas. If that’s the case, I hope you’ll stop being an MSM sucker and wake up!
