He came very late to the party and then acted like he didn’t want to be there. In my view, he was pulled into his candidacy by loyalists who know his philosophies. He holds the current political process in contempt because of the contempt most successful politicians show their constituents.
I like his Federalist principles and I believe him to be honest. We lost when his candidacy ended. Not Fred Thompson.
