Wayne County prosecutor Kym Worthy addresses the media in her office in Detroit, Friday, Jan. 25, 2008. The investigation into whether Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his former top aide committed perjury or other crimes during testimony in a highly publicized whistle-blowers' trial is all part of the job for the Wayne County prosecutor. And she doesn't even consider it the toughest assignment she's had since she's been in the prosecutor's office. (AP Photo/Carlos Osorio, file)

Waiting with much anticipation and trepidation. The thug, gangsta Mayor is obviously, irrefutably guilty of, at the minimum, perjury and obstruction of justice. He no doubt also has problems with other types of fraud, misuse of public funds and on and on. If the DA lets this slip it would not surprise me as this same type of behavior has been par for the course in Detroit for at least the past 30 years or so - Ever since White Flight to the suburbs took full hold - and it has not ever been pursued.

Hoping by this time tomorrow it is being pursued and that this thug and his cronies are on the way out.

What is your opinion? Is she going to get after the king of hip hop mayors? Or is there something going on we can’t see.

"Beating death of a black motorist?" That's rather generous to the motorist, one Mr. Malice Green. I'm not saying people driving under the influence of cocaine and alcohol who resist arrest and try to take an officer's gun deserve a few taps on the head, but they're not really in a position to complain.
"She won second-degree murder convictions against the officers?" The conviction didn't even stick in one case, and the other went to the state supreme court before it stuck. (That officer was let out anyway to get treated for lung cancer.) Not exactly an epic win.
