We could call it the “Sorehead/Loserman” ticket.

i honestly dont think he would pick Lieberman as VP
my guess is that he will appoint him at DHS or Secretary of State but not VP
he knows (Or should know) that he is going to have to get a more conservative younger R for VP
if he does nominate Lieberman i think it would be a huge mistake and disaster

Lieberman might actually be a good choice. He would help McCain in the very blue voting but not really so blue Northeast and would be a constant reminder that Barack Obama has followed a racist, anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian alleged “man of God” for a quarter of a century...a/k/a all of his adult life.

"Lieberman is going to be McCain’s Vice-President?"

No worries, Joe is nothing more than a showpiece for the Dem's and Idies.

McCain will pick someone younger and a little more to the right as his VP

Notice I said a little.

I predicted that a month ago.

It makes sense when you think about it.

McCain knows he is not going to get the conservatives onboard no matter what he promises (as if we would believe his promises) so he has to lock up the center completely — including the normally Democrat leading centrists.

The Democrat race has devolved into a leftist slugfest between two Marxist surrender freaks. Withdrawing from Iraq and being soft on national security is not going to give the Dems the center left.

Lieberman has a lot of cred these days, plus he's Jewish (which is a minority, sort-of). Maverick McCain and Lieberman together would excite a lot of people.

I will actually feel good about not voting for that ticket.
